WW - Breitling Premier Chronograph, ref 789, manual wind, 32mm x 39mm to lug tips, 17mm male lug width, original 18K rose gold snap back case with sharp faceted lugs and rectangular pushers, no strap, original silvered dial with black painted and polished rose indices as well as an outer tachymeter scale along perimeter, two inset subregisters for minute recording and subsidiary seconds, 17J, s#591142, triple signed. Gross weight of assembled watch 19.3 dwt (30.2 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running however balance appears to be rubbing on plates, chronograph functions and resets, however sweep hand resets slightly before zero, recommend a watchmaker's overhaul, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, light tarnish to plates, very light oxide to steelwork; excellent dial with light surface spotting most notably along perimeter; excellent-plus plum colored hands; unpolished case shows little wear, incredibly sharp faceted lugs, still retains most of its original factory finishing, no dents or dings; crown has started to wear to brass; crazed plastic crystal is worn out and should be replaced.
